Shiye is Navaho for "son"

2007 was a cruel year - I lost my dear beloved Popsickle Toes to a virulent pneumonia
 when her babies were just 3 months old.  I'm still devastated at the loss.  Though Zak
doesn't have a show personality (basically a very nervous nelly boy) he does have
his mother's eyes and her cuddliness which sucks out my heart. 
 She was on the shy side too and yet produced some lovely, outgoing babies, so we'll see
how Zak's kids turn out.  In this litter we had Jack the Mack (a mackerel tabby <lol>) and
Zak Attack.  Zak is a crazy playful boy and very good at attacking moving objects like Toes!  He is a dear and a handsome fellow with a great lineage and I love him for himself but his name is a tribute to one of the dearest girls I've ever know, his mom.

Zak is siring some handsome kittens with great personalities!
 He may never see the inside of a showhall but I'm sure some of his babies will :-)
