My Maggie Jo - what a cutie she is. I had no plans to keep another brown tabby girl, but her sparkling personality just stole my heart.

Her name of course is from the wonderful Magothy River in Maryland. The Jo part is an honor to my dear mother who passed away shortly before this litter was born. Mom was a water rat and she loved my cats, so she'd get a kick out of the name :-)  Also like my mom, Maggie has the classic "red gene" girl personality, with lots of spirit and her own opinion of how things should be.

She is such a goof and hopefully she'll continue to enjoy showing when she goes back in the ring after taking time off to become a mom.  She showed great as a kitten - she'd get right up on the stand and play with the judges and was never phazed by the crowds or all those strangers touching her.

Maggie's first litter with Louie was beautiful!  One of which is her lovely red classic tabby girl, Moosecoons Ehawee (aka Minnie) who now lives with my friend Michele in the DC area.  From her second litter with Louie, I decided to keep Moosecoons Kasa (aka Kasey) who if anything is even more beautiful than her mom.

Here she is with Wookie, who is actually Tally's baby, but who's counting? She's just a natural born mom!
